This warranty card is issued only at the time of original purchase. It is NON-TRANSFERABLE and will not be re-issued.
The battery warranty is upto 12 Month and and replacement is valid only against manufacturing defects.
Expected battery life if the vehicle is driven:
Once in a week ( 50 KM – 100 KM ) – Upto 36 Months
Once in a Month ( 50 KM – 100 KM ) – Upto 18 – 24 Months
To validate this warranty card, you are requested to fill in all necessary information (owner’s name, address, telephone number and date of purchase). This warranty card together with the original purchase receipt must be presented to the CRANK1 authorized service stations before any repair/replacement, otherwise no such claim shall be entertained.
The battery is warranted against any manufacturing defects arising during warranty period.
The warranty is limited to all defects arising from the use of faulty material or poor workmanship. Consequential liabilities will not be entertained.
In the event of any complaint, the battery has to be returned to any nearby CRANK1. Authorized Service Facility along with warranty card and original purchase receipt The Replaced / Rectified battery has to be collected from the same point it is advised to bring the vehicle, where the battery under claim was fitted to identify the problem.
within warranty period, CRANK1. Authorized Service Facility will repair or replace the defective battery, to rectify the problem. The right to determine whether a battery needs repair or totally replacement lies solely with the Company. In case where the battery is replaced, the defective battery becomes the property of the Company and no scrap rebate will be given for it.
The Warranty Period on the battery being replaced Free of Cost, shall commence from the date of Sale of the original battery as stated In the original warranty card and not from the date of replacement given no new warranty card will be issued.
The Octroi duty and all local taxes Which is leviable on the battery under repair or replacement will be borne by the customer.
All dispute or difference arising out of use of battery, shall have exclusive jurisdiction of Tis Hazari Court, New Delhi.
All liabilities under this warranty will cease if the battery is:
Transferred to a third party or to any other Equipment /system / vehicle,
Used in any application other than that specified by the company application chart
Used in non-vehicular application.
Damaged due to fitment of additional accessories other than the original fitment.
Out of warranty period.
The warranty does not cover:
Vent cover is forcefully attempted to open
Is topped up with distilled water/ acid or any other additives
Damage to the battery caused by faulty electrical systems, improper, handling, servicing by unauthorized dealers / technicians, willful abuse, destruction by fire, collision, theft or recharging.
Cost of Recharging, Breakage of container and/or cover would be billed extra.
The original purchase invoice & warranty card along with intact barcode must accompany all claims arising within the warranty period.
Customers are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the mentioned conditions at the time of purchase and agreed to follow general instructions for usage and maintenance of battery, failing to do so shall invalidate this warranty.
Battery has been overcharged due to alternator irregularities, malfunction problems, exposure to excessive heat or possible thermal run away – NO WARRANTY applies.
